Wheels and tyres - try these: http://www.fusionhobbies.com/Wheel-Tyre-Se...-Cars-s/373.htm

We use the V-treads for racing and get decent grip with a good lifespan too. Well worth the money, and just change the front tyres when they wear out :).

FWD Minis always wheelspin, thats just what they do. You can help it by adding lead weight into the front bumper to keep some of the mass over the front axle, but the biggest help is just a gentler application of the throttle.

Tamiya did some 4 Spoke Compomotive style rims, but being alloy they are silly expensive (£60-70 for 4 without tyres!).

snow and RC's rock!! will Tamiya rally blocks fit? ive seen a mini set up for rally and it looked awesome.

The Tamiya Rally Block tyres are for 1.9" rims. These would be very large on a M-Chassis. There are other brands that do make the same tread pattern for the M-Chassis size wheels. Example. Rally mini would be quite fun.
