On my M03 cooper , there are they hexagon shaped nuts that go over the axles ( and pin ) . They are supposed to fit into coresponding hexagon holes on my rims . But They wont go in , 2 of them are cracked a tiny tiny bit . So if that makes them expand then my problem is solved , but if that don't matter , then what can I do to get them in ?

and what is the part number I need to order new ones ? or the what equivalent will do ?

If they are cracked then they will be slightly oversized and wont fit into the hole. You need to order the appropriate sprue for the hexes. Check the back of the manual then contact a modelshop, advise to use TimeTunnel, Stella, Modelsport or Fusion

Mr.Pink

You can find it at Home->Tamiya Model (basicly any model's will do) or Ask your local hobby shop for it. Hope this will help. [|)]

I found the mini cooper manual , it basically says that the part i am lookin for comes on a parts tree ( 50736) , so where could I order that from ?

Or are there many models that use this part ? ie: any 1/10 tamiya model

Wheel hexes are THE SAME as any other Tamiya touring car out there.

If you don't want to buy the whole plastic sprue just for those,

go buy the hopup Clamp-On aluminium hexes instead.

The clamp-on ones are made of aluminium (so are less prone to wearing at the corners and in the drivepin groove) and they have a split which has a grub screw. This means that you can slide them over the drive pins and then tighten up the grub screw, which makes them less prone to falling off and losing the drive pins if the wheel comes loose.

A worthwhile hopup, much better than the plastic ones...
