I would really like to keep the seats in and detail the cab but keeping the MFU, I haven't installed it as yet but can't think of a way unless getrid of the speaker box and fit like is shows in the manual on the cab over engine trucks. Any ideas or do or dont's?

I don't think there is enough room in the engine compartment for the speaker. (my is the 1st gen. MFU) IThe speaker box gives it better sound. I just tinted the windows and left all the interior out. The King is still the best, to me, but it also has let interior space to work with, when compare to say the Knight.

Spent a fair while today seeing how to do this and think I have found a way, my only concern is the amount of wires to squeeze in. It is similar to the way if fits in the Knight Hauler (starting to wish maybe I bought a Knight now!)

I havent fitted the interior in my Globeliner so I could keep the large speaker box as it sounds sooooo much better with it than without - bear that in mind!

I am trying the same. I have managed to fit the mfu it self in the roof of the scania (standard roof)

the speaker I think will not be in the box but attached to the back wall facing back ward with a whole load of little holes for the AF to travel out from.

cables well that will take a while to organise but afew well place box tubes down the back should hide them well.

I hope to try and get the vibration unit in between the seats, speaker behind and MFU attached to the back like on the Knight, its very frustrating as another 10mm in certain places and it would all fit in so much easier.

I hope to get a Scania at some point and wanted at least 1 truck with MFU and detailed cab, but the Scanias seem to have blacked out windows?

nah the windows are clear and if (like me) you have the doors opening then you're laughing. makes it well worth the effort for the interior. god bless micro servos.

with the scania you can have a topliner conversion which will give you loads of room up top for most of the stuff. then have the vibration unit mounted within the engine tunnel. I'll have to do some decent pictures of the inside some time.

shame I haven't seen the knight as a whole other wise I am sure I would have created space some how.

are you using the speaker box?

Is there no way you can discard the box so that it's just the speaker. see if you can make a mount for it. I suggest this as with the Scania, it originally meant to be mounted in the roof section facing down. so I believe that the box it self isn't crucial to the result.

This should make more room for you.

Consider using smaller size speaker and box???

But one must know if the smaller sized speaker will match the existing electronic to allow it to work properly or without damaging the speaker or the electronics. The hassle may worth the end result..

Well tonight I have managed to fit it all, seats and enough clearance for the battery to easily go in, took a lot of figuring out though.
