Typhoon 13 Posted January 4, 2010 Plenty of suppliers on ebay uk. Search for Acrylic sheet if you want 'Plexiglass' or Polycarbonate sheet if you want 'Lexan'.

OCD 514 Posted January 4, 2010 Lexan = Polycarbonate = Plexiglas. All the same
Blacque Jacque 4 Posted January 4, 2010 Ummm, I hate to sound like a pedant, but Plexiglas(s) is not the same as polycarbonate, it's poly methyl methacrylate (PMMA) Plexiglas is an alternative name for Perspex, both are trade names, the former belonging to Altuglas & the latter belonging to ICI. Polycarbonate (PC) is most commonly known by the tradename Lexan, belonging to DuPont.
terry.sc 16 Posted January 4, 2010 Lexan = Polycarbonate = Plexiglas. All the same Lexan = polycarbonate = flexible, tough plastic with high impact strength. Plexiglass = acrylic = stiff, brittle plastic that shatters on impact. Not the same
