My 'new' 959

Hi all, thought I'd share some pictures of my new (new to me) Porsche 959, bought off ebay while drunk as a Lord.

I love the Blue Groove parts.

I first saw one on these NIB at a model shop in Guildford in about 1988. I very nearly bought one but was put off by the cost of the bearings the guy in the shop said were 'a must'.

Broken Technigold motor connector.

I'm going to put a repro shell on it and place it on a shelf for a while. But something about this car screams 'run me'.

Hehe, yeah. Maybe run it on some pillows in my bedroom?

It also come with a vintage looking Tx and the four small components you see at the bottom of the picture. Not sure what they're for.

nice 959 btw. i would love one of them!! i better get some stella in . . . .
