Isuzu Mu bearings question.

Hi there,

I have just bought a second hand Isuzu Mu and it still has the standard Plastic bearing fitted, so as always i want to make roller bearings the first upgrade.

I am unsure if there is a difference (if any) between the Isuzu Mu and the Isuzu Mu X type can anyone advise me on this !!!

Lastly where might i find spares for the Mu apart from Ebay ? because i need to find wing mirrors for it.

AFAIK, the Mu and the Type X are identical apart from the wheels/tyres, ride-height (spacers in the shocks and different springs on the Mu) and gear ratio (20 tooth pinion on the Mu, 16 tooth on the Type X). I think the Mu was intended as an 'on road' version of the XC chassis.

As for the wing mirrors, you'll be lucky to track any new ones down. Ebay, or a 'wanted' ad here are your best bets.
