ih everyone. as stated before on a previous post, i just returned from iraq after a "stressful" work assignment. during that time i have bought a few nib ta02 kits and new assembled cars. one of the cars i have purchased, the previous owner stated that he had purchased a front sway bar assembly for the chassis. after looking at the sway bar, i'm trying to figure how it would fit to the front gear box. unfortunately, when buying used parts, no instructions are included in most purchases. i sort of remember tamiya offering a front stabilizer set for this chassis but i could be wrong. if anyone have any ideas or any instructions, i would greatly appreciate it. i will include pics as soon as i can dig out the camera.

Tamiya only offered a rear swaybar for this chassis, as a front swaybar wasn't really needed with all the understeer it would create.

If you're still curious, RCCA did an article years ago about this very idea:

*EDIT* I can't for the life of me figure out how to get these to post full size, so my apologies for my compu-ineptness...

OK - Pictures are now full size when clicked on.

I will never understand how this forum works :D

thanks alot! that info helps me out. i sort of figured that the front sway bar that came with the car i got didn't look like it belonged. it sort of looked like one off a kyosho product. i have a lot of parts i have to go through and get rid of especially stuff previous owners threw in just to get rid of it.

one way i've found that should work is to fit TA03 uprights and a TA03 swaybar to the TA02, then find a way of holding the bar to the chassis in the centre

Would a TA02 rear swaybar fit an FF01?

As I have soft springs in the front and really stiff at the back (the rear jumps) and I would like to use softer rear springs + swaybar

Just picking up on this 10+ year old thread, as I found these recently. Interesting front and rear sway bar, suspension and carbon mount sets, front and rear, parts which I’ve never seen before.
