Hey guys!

Hoping someone could help me identify these tyres. Got them in a parts lot and they look cool but don't fit 2.2s - possibly 2.0s

Not sure if they are Tamiya or not as they have "Goodyear" written on them. Any help appreciated.

The old Aristocraft Wildebeast used Monster Beetle-like tires, but with the amount of RCs back in the 80's (RTR etc.) its tough to tell where they could have come from.

I have been thinking about this since you showed them to me the other day.

I don't think that they are Tamiya. They are probably made by someone like AJ's, well at least they made a lot of tyres with Goodyear on the sidewalls.

No, the Seben Racing tyres only have 2 rows of spikes on each side. The "strange" ones has 3 rows..

I would suspect they have come off some toystore RTR plasti-kind of car, like a Nikko or somthing similar.. This is based on what seems to be a slightly larger diameter "rim-edge" on the inside of the wheels.. Very typical for RTR "toy cars" for less tyre-flexing i suspect..

Don´t think they are from a build-it-yourself kit. ;)

Cheers..
