Best Motor For A Scania.

just had mine out for a run in the street and in third gear it seems way to fast with the standard silvercan in,so whats the best one to stick in there to slow it down a tad?

I think the standard motor is fine, you just need the 3:1 reduction gears or something... read it in the Trucks FAQ scetion

What esc`s do you use?will a standard teu101bk handle them?Havent got a mfu fitted

I run 55 turns with a 8 tooth pnoin from rc4wd it is almost the same speed as a stock and a 4 to 1 gear box..

To save the extra hassle and space of fitting extra reduction-units and so on, i simply use the Lathe Motors from Integy in all my trucks and trial-cars.. (Integy Matrix Pro is the full name).

Plenty of torque, low powerconsumption and MUCH more realistic speed..

The Integys are also available in several different "turn-numbers" but i use 65 and 75 turns in mine.. These can also be run off the TEU-101-BK esc.

I use a Carson Truck Puller motor 7.2v and it works perfect with the MFU
