Lipo Battery And Group C Chassis

Hi,

I'm just getting into LiPo batteries and was wondering is there a brand that will fit into the Group C chassis. I dont really want to modify the chassis if possible.

Yeah Racing's 3200mAH 20C stick pack LiPo should fit. It will be a bit tight, and you need to modify or drive without the small battery holder because the Yeah Racing battery is slightly too long at 138 or 140mm (instead of the approximate 135mm of the NiCd batteries).

Intellect's IP4000 is the same dimensions as the Yeah Racing round edge pack, but 4000mAh and 25C. It too is 138mm long and 3mm longer than a regular Ni-MH/Ni-Cd stick pack. I needed to modify the battery stopper on a TA01/02 chassis to get it to fit. You would need to do similar on a Grp C chassis.

Mark pretty well sums it up. I use this very battery in my group c cars & they fit. A little longer but they do go in.
