as you can tell im a new one to the tamiya club world and looking forward to what the forum has to offer.

just purchased my first buggy, a new hornet and all the bits to get it going.not yet built so any tips or starting points would be gratefull.used to make the tamiya model kits but always wanted a buggy so thought i would treat myself.started to build a ramp at work so if i can ill post the pics and vids when its done.also work in the middle of a golfcourse so thats going to be fun[:D]

hope to get a bit more involved when the hornet is built so untill then happy rc-ing [:P]and congrats on the great site.

Welcome aboard mate - I am sure you will find many more people with the same disease enthusiasm for this hobby.[:D]

Search the forums and ask questions - we are a pretty helpful bunch for the most part.

opened the box last night.bit more to it than i thought[xx(]id="navy">

recon ill have it all done in about a day.just a bit unsure when it comes to the electrics.

Electrics are pretty straightforward, the manual goes into plenty of detail for connecting up the hardware. If you get stuck, you know where to come for help [;)]

Welcome aboard; just dont get heavy handed when tightening the screws as they stip the plastic out with the thread, and the instructions are easy to follow if you do follow the sequence. I always find a few containers to empty the bag contents into labeled to the bag are helpful when starting your first model.

hi there buddy, welcome to TC.com

i can remember my first modle build, all those bits and the eager ness. i can remember having built it and trying to install the receiver. just make sure you use all the addapters if you need to, as mine was suppliedwith, cos after about an hour of raging thinking the **** thing didnt fit, i found the adapter [:I]

Welcome to the club mate!

After a looooong time away, i found the guys here more then helpful with all their words of wisdom.

I now have tonnes of cars and just.....cant......s..t..o..p!!!!

Have fun with your car, it wont be your last believe me!
