Hi,

if it is the same company,OK models now make a range of planes and boats.Thats all i could find.

Maybe TerrySC might know a bit more,he knows a lot of RC and car information.

The other person to ask might be TC member Hong Kong,he has a superb collection of unusual things.

Best of luck.

I have bought the car, remote and the starter 3 years ago. The car is brand new and the engine has never run, it has been in the original box from 1978 so it has been in the dark for almost 30 years. I bought it because i thought is was a verry rare thing and it has to be because i can't find anything about it on the internet. I would realy like to know wat it's value is

I rcalled years back Kyosho made a chassis (and the shell ) exactly like this in early 80's . So this may be a re-branded Kyosho or something from that origin...

I would be interested in any info that you find out about it. I have one that looks almost exactly like yours but is a Lamborghini.

Tried to load pic but system will only let me upload 299 bytes.

To clear this up...

The real brand behind this one is OK Model. A Japanese brand.

Speed Build was the brand under which they were released, outside Japan. They were all petrol powered models, and there were a handful of different cars, including a Lamborghini Countach.

OK Model seems to have more of a history with R/C aeroplanes, hence these few R/C cars they released in the late 70s/early 80s were all petrol powered.
