Repainting Bodies - Can it be done ?

So can I repaint a lexan body ? I don't like the color ( purple ) but the shell is in good shape , what would I use to strip the old paint off , and how should I prep it afterwards , that is if it is possible . Thanks.

I have heard that nitro fuel works well for removing the paint off of lexan. I have never done it myself unfortunately.

I did it on a Blizzard shell, with nitro fuel it removed about 95% of the paint.
