SOLD

For sale is a Tamiya TA03F in Pro/TRF-ish spec (More pictures in the Traderoom entry). It is freshly restored, it has run once for 5-10 minutes after it's restoration.

For anyone who may be interested in the story behind the car, I bought it on the German Ebay. When it arrived it turned out to be in a lot worse condition than mentioned in the auction. I was planning to convert it to a TA03F before, but because there was so much damage, I made the decision to actually replace everything preventatively. While doing so, I also had the chance to give it this car it's most essential hopups. I decided to go for the least flashy parts I could find as I don't really like to see shiny aluminum items through the wheel arches and the windows of the bodyshell. I also restored it with the intention to run the car after that. However, I have only got around testing it once for 5-10 minutes to see if it ran smoothly, which it did. After that it has stood on the shelf. I think I am not going to run it anymore as I think a future TB03 would be more suitable for that. So therefor it's on sale.

The only parts on the car that are not new are:

- The Axles of the belt pullies.

- A small part of the screws and split pins.

- The plastic bar between the steering arms.

- The FRP chassis set and it's countersunk screws.

- The drive belt.

- Gear Differential internals.

So ALL Other Parts are New. The specs of the car are now:

- TA03F with Grey Plastic Chassis Parts.

- Tamiya Low Friction Dampers (In Black, these are Limited Edition Event Hopups).

- Tamiya Colour Setting Spring Set.

- Kawada Colour Stabilizer Set.

- Tamiya FRP TA03R/TA03F Lower Deck.

- Tamiya FRP TA03R Upper Deck (Allowing the battery and weight balance to be shifted further forward).

- Tamiya FRP Battery Top Plate.

- Tamiya TA03F Belt Tensioner.

- Kose FF01 Front Universal Shafts (These fit the TA03 and shimmed for less play).

- Tamiya Stainless Steel Suspension Shafts.

- Tamiya Turnbuckle Tie-rods and Upper Arms.

- Tamiya Aluminum Racing Steering Set.

- Tamiya Carbon Stabilizer Mounting Plate.

- Full Ball Bearings (Including the Steering Arms, These and of the Wheel Axles are Rubber Shielded Bearings).

- Tamiya Super Grip Radial Tires.

- Regular Plastic Servo Saver.

- Aluminum Motor Plate.

- Aluminum 12mm Pin Type Hex Adapters.

- 0.6 Module Gears and Gear Differentials on Front and Rear, 'Tightened' with AW-Grease.

- Gears Lubricated with a light coating of Ceramic Grease.

- Gear Housings are mostly Sealed with Silicon Sealant where the Covers are mounted.

- Tamiya VW Golf IV Wheels.

I will add all of the spare parts I have of the TA03. These include:

- New Chassis Parts.

- Used/Replaced Chassis Parts.

- NIP additional Kawada Colour Stabilizer Set plus a new one from the opened set.

- NIP additional Tamiya Colour Setting Spring Set.

- Used Pulley and Belt Tensioner Parts.

- Used Driveshafts, Suspension Shafts and Axles.

- (Nearly) All Paperwork from the Restoration.

As you see below and can read above this car is practically New, and it has all the Necessary Hopups for Good Adjustability and Durability. I haven't seen a TA03 with a similar spec online for a while, so I can't really put a price on it. If you're interested, I'm open to offers.

PS: Please check my traderoom for more sales. I can potentially offer a discount on other items if you buy several things I have for sale :)
