I fully stripped down and rebuilt my 2nd hand Baja champ today.

3 reasons for this were-

1) i wanted piece of mind that it was all put together correctly.

2) just got a full 24 piece bearing kit for it.

3) the steering needed setting up properly because the servo cant have been in neutral position when fitting the parts to it.

Now i am much happier with my car i am now looking at the next upgrade for it.

I want a nice cheap 23 turn motor.Possibly a BZ or Hackmoto.

Has anyone tried the Hackmoto motors?

What is the difference between the Tamiya Bz motors and the Tz motors?

Never tried the Hackmoto motors. As for the BZ/TZ I don't think there is a big differance, but I remember that the BZ was favored.

The tz and bz are the same motor in a different finish and the bz has the dust cover. These are

awesome motors and by removing the timing tab they can have adjustable timing.
