OCD 515 Posted March 31, 2010 SO I have this frame here, a custom job with a professionally cut double matte and everything. It used to contain an old concert poster of a band that I've long since lost interest in, and would like to replace it with some Tamiya artwork.. I'm sure I paid an arm and a leg to have the frame made, so my hoarding tendencies prevent me from just throwing it away. Naturally the first thing I thought was that I could easily find something within my empty kit boxes that fit, but sadly everything I have here is either too narrow, or too tall. Dimensions of the matte opening are 11 1/8" X 24 1/8" (28cm X 61cm), cut to fit a vertical mounting, but I'd be happy to mount horizontally in spite of this. Just going in my work area anyhow, so no need to be perfect. Just want to see some nicely framed boxart on the wall! Does anyone have recommendations of something that may fit these dimensions? Even better yet, would someone sell me their box top that fits? Again, not being picky here, as I can't imgine there's too many kits that came in this size! -Steve
OCD 515 Posted March 31, 2010 i made some collages over the years, take the art you want lay it out on backing paper and paste away, then cut to final size. Hadn't thought of that! That's a nice idea, thanks
