has anyone come across a glue that will 'weld' tamiya shells (clod buster) back together? my clod buster has some minor cracks in the shell. i have tried many types of glues including the airfix glue, a hot glue gun and even the gamesworkshop stuff, and still no luck :P

thanks for any help you can provide.

there's also Airfix, Tenax and Tamiya's own Cement in the orange hexagon bottle

cement "welds" the plastic, the 2 halves you want to join must be touching together closely

if there's any gap, it won't work as well - the glue can shrink away the bits that aren't touching

if its a crack... make some ABS shavings and add that into the gluebottle to dissolve,

the dissolved plastic in glue will do a slightly better job at "filling" the gap.

thanks for all the help guys. in reply to tamiya dan yeah you guessed right. its a super clod body about 2 years old. the body has been slly fallng apart for some time, up untill about a week ago the right hand sde of it was held together with packing tape . ive decided to give it a bit of a referbishment so all the bumpers have come off and have been replaced with home made metal ones for a bit of added damage protection. the bod is going to be reinforced with aluminium and im going to try and find some jerry cans and things to go in the truck bed.

i will give the tamiya 'cement' a go and see ow it works.

again thanks for all the help and i will try to uploead some pics at some point.
