Dusted the Clod off and chucked a freshly charged battery in it and took it for a vary rare outing in the garden (when I say rare I mean its been out twice in about 10 years ! )

Few pics...

Thanks for the comments ;)

Don't use it very often as I just don't find it that interesting really and it kills the batteries to quick :D

Looks good though :P

It's cruel to keep Clods indoors permanently, they need to feel the sun on their backs and the dirt under their tyres - don't leave it another 5yrs!! :D

I'm like you. I find them very interesting but don't run them as they took a lot of work to get them to look good. Still trying to get to grips with Tamiya choosing red for them way back then though.

Solution : buy a basher cheap and use that :)

Henk my friend, you seem to be a bit under the weather, you're talking a load of nonsense... All mid-eighties C10's should be red :P :P

I have to wonder though, is it the camera/light that make Clod's look pinkish in photo's? I'm sure they are a rich red IRL, but I've noticed quite a few clod pic's with it lately B)

Ouch!!!! all red?????!!!! :P

Must be that some shoot without auto white balance and then end up with pink looking reds.

Homer, must make an effort to do that and get a decent basher.

Haha maybe not mate, but I guess it's because Red is quite common. I like an 85 C10 in white too, or a late 70's swb in blue... :P

I 'nearly' have enough to make a runner clod, only missing a few parts ;)

I should get my one spare running again in the near future too. Will be sporting a different shell though. I have an idea of doing something a little different and sadly it will not be a Chevy bodied one. Watch this space...................................................... B)

Henk :)
