Tanks In Showrooms

Not many KV's in the showrooms, and no Panzer 4's.

Are they just not popular compared to Tigers and Shermans? Or is it the price differential? They seem to cost almost the same as the Leopard 2, but the insides are the same as the older tanks.

Seems to me that a T34/85 would sell better than the unknown KV, that was not a very good tank in real life. Personally, I don't like the look of the Panzer 4 with the spaced armour plates.

Myself, I have a Tiger 1 that was secondhand on ebay a few years ago.

That's something I need to work on ... putting some of my work up. I don't buy or build models based on how they did in real life though, and I am sure most are the same way. The Tamiya KV so far has been a great performer by recent battle acounts and the same as the PIV, which you can build without the side armor plates (the Schurzen plates) if you don't like them.
