Add spacers around the damper shaft inside the shock bodies to reduce the rebound travel. This should work for both the friction and oil shocks.

Limiting the travel with internal spacers will give unusual handling, because the suspension will have no droop.

My recommendation would be the Tamiya Short Touring Spring Set - I forget the part number - or even cutting a couple of coils off your springs. This will stiffen the rate and decrease ride height.

Best way is to get the Super Mini CVA dampers which have also a smaller shock body and allow more drop, they don't cost the world.
