Tyrrell 6 Wheeler

ok so my lhs rang me on tuesday to tell me my ss as came in and they also said they a a tyrrell 6 wheeler in also

know am these any good as i have'nt seen one before so i dont know anything about them

they have'nt said a price so does any one know of the price of these as i am assuming they are a r/release.

any info greatly apprecheated.

the re re six wheeler is based on the F103. check out prices on ebay and compare with what your LHS is offering.

Actually the body is new,it is completelly different than the other two six wheeler they all ready made. The chassis is a F103 with special front arms. This isnt a re release at all.

While it is a re-release of old parts, the end result is a new RC car.

Tamiya made the Elf body (blue livery) back in the 70s go go with their static model. The chassis is the same as the re-released Tyrrell P34 First National (blue/white livery). So you either call it a re-release or a new model, depending on how you look at it. It is sort of like the CC-01 Land Cruiser, new new parts, just a new way of combining existing parts.

is he right in thinking the rear drive train is the same as one of his 300zx's or Ferrari F40? sorry i dont know the chassis name

ok so i had a look at it yesterday and i did not come away with it as it is a typical tamiya re-release

when i opened the box their it was just thrown in with no thought to packageing what so ever

there aint even a box for the screws and engine and so on to go in. and at £170 for the car alone. i would not pay that for it.

but i still want a f-1 car so the hunt is on for a current release. my lhs does have a old ferrari f-1 in stock but i def aint a fan of them so that can stay there

any one know what is currently out there by tamiya.

Only reason I want one is because if you look on the box it shows the driver as Sheckter but under a British flag. I named my first born son after that man JODY Scheckter, South Africa's only F1 champion ever.
