Hi guys,

Since the end of last year I had been planning a large race meeting for us Aussies to enjoy a few of weekends ago. The "Dust and Mud" have settled a bit now - so I thought I might throw up some pics for you to see from the meeting. We got tremendous support from Venom Group International, every single competitor got a transmitter bag, toolset and decals etc, we had a great raffle and a really good time. The weather went bad for race day - but that did not stop us.

Will just put up the pics for now - I will go into a bit more detail over if people are interested - there are a TONNE of pics - and will be adding more over the weekend!

We had such an awesome time.

I placed the thread here so that it did not get missed int he "ëvents" forum - as I know alot of people rarely go there. If anyone thinks this is wrong and an abuse of my Moderator privileges - please let me know.

WELL DONE! That takes a serious amount of organising. Take my hat off to you, its more work than most people realise to get such days organised. Looks like it was fantastic.

Now some picts of period TXs for those really into the spirit? I am waiting for a race like this to use my EX-II.

Hope someone attending is a video star and you get some stuff for youtube! Thanks for posting up/sharing!

Wow, just wow! Looks like it was an awesome day, So much nostalgia! Good to see the rain didn't deter a few from getting out there.

Aaaaah! I missed a Tamiya meet in my home town!

I didn't know it was on!

So would have been there to add another Frog, Fox and Super Shot and maybe a Falcon to the proceedings.

Thanks very much for the comments guys, this meeting was an absolute blast - even if the weather gods were not co-operating!

I am also orgainsing a meeting in a couple of months time - a vintage enduro.

Hunter Zero - seriuously! - thats the second or third time you have missed out mate - keep an eye on the meeting threads here and on R/C Tech (the Aussie forum) - we always post up when the meetings are happening.

Lots of great stories to tell, and heaps of terrific memories too.
