Ford F350 Build Thread

Recommended Posts

Hi people

I don't know if this is the wrong place as I don't know if it classes as a monster truck and Iknow there are probably loads of build threads but I thought I'd show some pictures of how my I'm doing at building my F350 Kit. Ive done as much as I can for now till I sort out what servos I'm going to use. I will also be sending my body to Oranda-Design who will be doing nice paint job for me  I also plan on having the shocks sprayed to a nice blue. I can't decide yet if I should lock any of the difs so I've just left it standard for the moment.

Nice pics - always good to read a build thread - mainly cos I never get to build NIB's myself!

Well there are loads more people more qualified than me to offer advice, but I've just installed a 5kg torque servo on mine after I thought the AS17 wasn't pulling it's weight and it seems to be doing the business, so I'd say the Hitec would probably do it... IANAL, IMHO, etc...

My servo has eventually arrived so I've started the steering linkages. There seems to be alot of unwanted movement in the steering so I'll need to sort that out.

Does anyone know if it possible to get a front bumper with spotlights in the front?

I think you should have a look at RC4WD's site. If I remember correctly there is a very nice bumper for the Ford. If you look in the showrooms you will also see a lot of trucks that has the standard bar with added spotlights on it. Maybe JANDERSON from Tamiyausa might also be able to help out on tips and his email address is at the bottom of his posts in the forums. Good luck and enjoy the rest of the build.

Henk
