Its been a while since the last Cider bash and wondering if anyone is up for another at maybe previous locations or somewhere new.

Open to suggestions or maybe a bash either in Somerset or Gloucestershire if there are any that way.

I’m always up for a bash, just name where and when, it is always good to get the toys out, might mean I get off my backside and build some things :) !

I have been working 7 days a week for most of the year so far, hence the reason for not being around much lately :) .

Not sure of of a location, there is a trading estate near me which is quiet and private but not that big - fine for Tamiya but a bit small for serious quick stuff.

There appears to be a lot of car parks at the huge Almondsbury site right off the motorway near Cribbs Causeway, but again none look that big.

Does anyone know any good tarmac or off road suggestions in the Bristol/Bath/Glos area?

I'm definately up for a meet, although can't be very flexible on dates as I've got lots going on over the next few weeks.

I'm personally up for another meet down at Ham Hill, we haven't been there for some time and it's consistently offered the best all-round mix of terrain, with good parking and facilities (and a good pub for munchies!!)

Don't know if everyone else is up for travelling to Yeovil tho. Am open to other suggestions on location

An idea for a tarmac bash would be Aztec West, I need to have a look out there but from what I have seen so far there are a huge amount of car parks out there and hopefully quiet at the weeken, plus its just off the M5.

Does anyone have any suggestions for off road? never been to Ham Hill but it seems quite some way away.

Hi all,

Sorry I've been absent for some time...

Visited my family the other day and they showed me a possible venue.

It's less than a mile from the previous bashes at the car park, but has no facilities on site (toilets etc).

Parking is road-side and the bash area is quite large. Wide tarmac footpath through the middle and large grass areas including a large dip to play in.

Only issue is that you can't see the cars where they are parked (although they are only 200 foot away)...

It's large enough that Richytanimal has got his Mad Armour 3 speed nitro topped out!

Anyway, will look at doing Google map of it as soon as I have a chance to fire up the Laptop if people are interested..........

Attempt from my mobile phone gives this link: http://maps.google.com/maps?q=51.425032,-2.606475 (can't blinking hyperlink it on my phone - sorry)

Gosh thats the field near where my nan lived and flew model planes there in the 80s with my uncle, not been there since but fond memories.

I have drove past there and thought of it as a bash spot as it looks good, just as its a public area so dog walkers it put me off a little.
