Finally Finished New Midnight Pumpkin

Hi all!

I've finally finished my Midnight Pumpkin & wanted to share pics.

Since I was a kid, I've always wanted a MP, so when I saw one on ebay for sale I couldn't help myself!

I'd like to thank all the people who have posted modifications & how-to's for upgrades on the MP.

Using this information, I've performed the following mods:

Oil shocks

Third shock mod

Brace for front shock towers

Bracing for rear shock mounts

Model plane tyres on wheelie bar

Hotter motor

I've also fitted:

Led headlites

Blue "neon" underbody lights (leds)

RPM light bar

Low voltage monitor & horn.

I have yet to fit:

12mm hex adaptors for rear wheels

I've broken a rear shock mount in the diff, so used a bolt with a threaded ball for the new one. I'm hoping that the bolt will help stop the new mount from breaking.

I would pick up a runner body. either a lexan replacement or something more trashed. otherwise that pretty chorme body is going to be hammered in no time.

All the suspension mods have come from other forum contributors. I've used what parts I had available.

The receiver is a Spektrum telemetry type which I'm using to monitor the batttery voltage.

Servo power is provided by a seperate BEC supply.

I have no night shots yet, but will post as soon as I get some.

Thanks for the runner body suggestion Shodog; I've tracked one down on ebay.

Just gotta save up some more pennies!
