hi all...

i'm another newbie to this site & just starting to get to grips with it... i copy BTCC, IRC, WTCC etc bodyshells & i've a batch of pics of ones i've finished & sold, + the ones still in my collection (3 TL-01's & a Pureten Alpha GP...) ; can anyone tell me how to upload them to this site (think they're too big) or recommend a good photo hosting site that i could put them on for anybody who wants to have a quick look at them - i have them on Snapfish at present, but i'm not sure about it and am looking for somewhere better or one other club members use. i did see a link to TCphotos i think it was, but on scanning down the topics in the forums a lot of people seem to be having problems with it, so can anyone recommend somewhere else...?

i did have 4 nitro cars, but as a result of an RTA i'm not very mobile so i got into electric cars instead as they can be used inside... i think i've gone the opposite direction from most people - most seem to go electric to nitro... i'm a real petrolhead & love anything with engines (i used to race F1 & F2 sidecars as the passenger), but 'cos of the mobility issue & the generally **** weather here in Northern Ireland the nitro's spent 99% of their time on the shelf ; i can get more use out of the electric ones...

that brings me to the other thing ; does anyone know of any r/c car clubs in N.I, preferably in the greater Belfast area ? - i would like to get into a club & maybe do a bit of racing...

that's all for now - thanks to anyone who has taken the time to read this ; not the best post in the world, but i'm new to the whole forum thing....

ttfn,

Hello and welcome , Very nice cars .

thank you, i'm glad you like them - i had more including a lot of helicopters i did (all sold now), but lost them when some git gave me a virus & i had to wipe drive & start again...

i keep the templates i make when i'm doing the car shells, so i can reproduce most of them if anyone wants a particular set of decals - i dont use a computer in the design & the decals are all hand-cut from vehicle graphic vinyl which is why they are'nt all 100% perfect...

i tried sourcing pre-cut vinyl letters from a number of places, but the smallest i could get were 6mm whereas some of the ones i needed were as small as 3mm, + the 6mm ones i got were'nt any tidier than mine... they will probably make some 'original only' purists cringe, but i wanted liveries that no-one else has plus it gives me something to do to pass the time - some of them took between 20-30 hours to plan out & cut :)

if anybody is interested in any of the designs give me a shout & i'll see what i can do - i'll also have a go at other liveries if there is something in particular someone is after...
