Hi all,I have recently aquired a Wild One that was built and run maybe once or twice so is in virtually mint condition.

The problem is that it has a clicking sound from the gearbox when going forwards but not reverse.I have had it apart but everything seems ok.

Hopefully not too serious just really annoying.

Are you sure that the problem is in the gearbox? It could be the driveshafts. Check the hex half shafts and inside the joint shafts for wear.

If you remove the motor, is there any noticeable notchiness to the gearbox?

When you disassembled the gearbox to check it's all assembled correctly, nothing is worn? The spacer is there?

yup, or drill/tap to through-pin the 2 outdrives together using a screw

check condition of the bevels & spiders too if they're been clicking for a while
