Hey Tipsy,

I figured and just counted you in. :)

Looking forward to it mate. The Novafox will be perfect for the 2WD silver can run. I'm thinking about down speccing an Astute with a silver can too.

Ok , who has a hornet or grasshopper ?. I was thinking ( if it's all right with Thommo ) , if we have a stock out of the box pogo stick

race :D . But has to be one or the other , or a car we all have . With pogo front shocks & stock . Was almost thinking 3 step speed

controller & 6 cell battery . Just like the old days ?. What do you think ? If not that is fine as we all may not have the same car .

Would be fun .

No worries. If there is enough of them to run stand alone Grasshoppers and Hornets, that's great. Maybe SRB's could run too, like a classic pre 1984 class. Great suggestion and you guys just make what you want of it on the day.

Otherwise they can run with the 2WD 540's or even in the fun class with Lunchbox's and Wild Willy's.

Ohh and I don't have either so I'll be marshaling and taking pics.

Ok , it's only just under a week , woohoo .

I'm charging my batteries & seeing what i am going to bring .

As i won't have too much room in the car , As i need to

drop off my V8 304 block for some honing work etc done .

So i can order the 355 stroker kit & start building that in

the coming months + i will be getting some computer parts

on monday to finish that , as it's my gaming comp .

so it's going to be a big weekend for me .

Bring it on !

Have your sun screen ready. ;)

I'm amping for it too. I've decided to run my Egress probably for the last time. Once the re-re drops, Eggy is destined for the shelf.

Egress - GT Tuned

Astute - 540

TA02T Brat - TZ Super Stock

I'll bring my Durga for a blast too but mostly want to get some good pics this time and have some fun!

I am good to go!

My Cars for this session ( I hope to have more ready for our next event)

This Sunday

Super Champ (motor 540) Ready to go!

Hornet (Re-release) (540) Ready to go!

Lunch Box (Re-Release) (540) Ready to go!

Tamiya Durga (Like Thommo just to have go on an actual RC track with it)

Vintage Sand Scorcher (Depends if I can get it ready by this Sunday. The old girl has a couple of issues with it at the moment as a runner....)

I'll be swapping tyres/wheels between the Super Champ and Hornet. My second set I ordered has not arrived by mail yet. Slow mail!

At this point in time the weather bureau has given us 27C. Nice.

Love too see a super champ running , i should get my SC running some day & this may get my to

do so .

Just can't wait , just like waiting for the Egress re re  .

Thanks Matman. The Super Champ is not the most agile runner but it is fun to watch. I don't know how it will handle on a track as i have only tested it on a decent bit of grass.

SRB run will happen for sure !

Steady over those jumps I reckon but looking fantastic.

We look to have our best turn out to date so easy should have 40 or 50 cars this Sunday.

ok , i am in the middle of building a fox with Al .

The shocks don't have bladders they have the

O ring , with plastic cap with screw to bleed it , then

the spring goes in & you put the shock top on .

I don't see it in the manual , as the manual has the bladder system .

So we pulled the other fox's apart & they are the same .

Three fox's have this system , so how rear are they ?. Are these the 1st addition ?.

Gents,

Unfortunately I can't make this run, I was hopeful that i would be able to although work commitments have won out.

I will have to catch the next one.

Have a good one and remember plenty of pics.

Cheers,

Brenden

Another great day out. Well done to the guys from Carine RC club that not only allowed us to use their track, but even arranged a BBQ for us this time. Had some good running, but this time spent more time marshalling or taking pics.

The Egress race pics (2 cars!) were plentiful. I've added the better ones below.

Roll on the next event, even if its just a bash near the airport.

A re-release RC10 made it to the races. Hotshot in the background. Spot the Boomerang :-)
