It's ok, there really isn't that much on them, mostly on the tires. I don't use them long enough on an individual basis that they need much servicing either.
Falcon#5 594 Posted October 3, 2018 Read all 18 pages. Some great pics and great turn outs. Do you still get similar numbers and variety of cars?

(Purely by chance on the way home from the hobby shop in Rockingham ) Do you only run on a section of it, or just go for it?! Some of those jumps looked pretty big, didn't stop for a proper look though. But does look nice and smooth. Do you run on a regular basis, or ad-hoc when you can get a crew together?

No , we have not run for some time . The rest have lives & wifes etc . So we don't get to run that much sadly .

Yeah we go all over the place. Yeah I did a few jumps here and there, nothing too large though. It's a good spot for a run. Unfortunately we don't get together that often. Life and things you know. Would be good to change that a little though.
Bananasmoothie1975 9 Posted October 10, 2018 Looks like I can access these forums again (Chrome wouldn't let me for ages..) Would be keen for a catchup if it fits between life and my other hobbies.

One needs to make time for the simple pleasures in life. If someone wants to start throwing some dates around, maybe we could find a day for a run sometime before the end of the year? Thommo 1201 Posted October 11, 2018 Well you guys that have to travel the furthest really need to just let us know when your in Perth. Preferably run on a Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning and then those of the Perth crew that can make it will.
matman 1498 Posted October 11, 2018 I'm heading up on 20th this month . But keen anytime , as long as it's not a hot day .
Pablo68 1049 Posted October 11, 2018 20th is fine for me, put a reminder up on here closer to the date though, I need that kind of thing. It'll be good fun to meet up again.
Falcon#5 594 Posted October 11, 2018 I need a reason to go to Perth, and running Vintage RC would be reason enough. 20th of this month won't work for me. Made two trips in three weeks already. That would be three trips in five weeks Seeing that the 20th will be the third Sat in the month, would anyone be interested in running the third Sat on every month? Every second or third month even? 17th of Nov could be a goer for me. It won't be possible for me to be there every time, but with enough notice I can at least plan ahead. As I imagine others can do too.
Bananasmoothie1975 9 Posted October 11, 2018 Bah, knew this would happen.. I'm hosting a slot car race on the 20th so I'm out.
matman 1498 Posted October 11, 2018 That's ok people . It's just that i was going to be up there . Was not thinking to do a run then . I need to look at my cars & see whats running . 17th Nov i will have too look , But i'm sure i'm going to be stuck here on farm . As the owners are away in Perth . I'm sure it's that weekend . If so I may still come , but it will have too be up and back in one day . I need to feed there dog's , cats and horses . I'm happy too run every month or even two or three months maybe better . Pablo68 1049 Posted October 12, 2018 Sounds like a good idea Matman. I'd be up for the once a month/third saturday or whatever. Whatever turns out to be most convenient for everyone.
matman 1498 Posted October 12, 2018 I don't think once a mouth would last , But every 2nd or even better 3rd month would be better , I think . It just gives people time inbeween running time & should not get bored with it . Summer screws it up , with the heat . I'm keen 99% of the time . Not to worried if there are heaps of people . Just too be able to have a bit of fun , with like minded people would be great . Bring the trade/sell stuff as well as normal .. @chickenman242tk It's time to get some bash on at some point bud . Mind you i may have to text chickenman242tk , as i'm not sure if he's been on tc for some time .
chickenman242tk 266 Posted October 12, 2018 I'm always keen for a run Sundays are much better for me as I work most Saturdays to pay for said rc habit lol. I usually have 5 or 6 running at most times so it's just a case of charge and go.
matman 1498 Posted October 12, 2018 Sunday morning is better i think . As i work on Fridays & not sure i would get there in time sat afternoon ? . I'm sure we ALL will work it out , as we have in the past .
Falcon#5 594 Posted October 12, 2018 Sundays are my only day off. I will have to book time off no matter what. Sat works better for me, can leave early in the morning and make it for the arvo. Stay overnight and head home Sun. Works for the family too, kids and wife don't need to take time off. Maybe mix it up with alternating Sat and Sun runs to accommodate everyone? But in saying that, if you really want to make it, you will find a way! 5 hours ago, matman said: Sunday morning is better i think .
