mini the minx 0 Posted June 16, 2010 Hey All, I've finally gotton my mitts on a sand scorcher 2010 after wanting one since i was a little un It's all built and im just in the finishing stages of spraying / detailing the shell and driver But im in need of some batteries so i can take bug to the beach .............. are these the right batteries ?? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...e=STRK:MEWAX:IT Are there any higher rating ones i can buy or if anyone can point me in the right direction i'd be uber grateful Thanks Lisa
loaded 4 Posted June 16, 2010 They will do fine, unless you are an 'original' fetishist and want an original 'hard' hump battery from the correct era. My guess is if you are happy with a Re issue Scorcher (why wouldn't you be!) then this battery will be just fine. Make sure you have the correct charger rating for it. Note the seller is a well known poster here, Time Tunnel Models, or The Shop Keeper. Paul.

tamiya monkey 243 Posted June 17, 2010 if you use deans on your other batteries, you might as well change the new battery connectors too, i dont use tamiya plugs at all, i use ec3 connectors myself.
