Yup its on a Madrat chassis.

Fantastic car, great value for money and better than any Tamiya 2wd off roader other than the TRF201x. (And maybe the Dynastorm)

my mate on here "crazyhare" has one and he thinks they are worth the price. I am even thinking og getting one If you message him i am sure he will give you a review, may take a while as he has just become a dad for the first time

Have a Mad Rat, and all I'll say is, you get what you pay for.

Mine must have been a Friday afternoon kit. The gearbox is terrible, and the motor plate holes were just too big that the screws didn't go in properly. I'm going to look at putting some after market RC10 bits on (or at least to see if they'll fit), given the Ansmann car is more or less a clone of that car.

Yeah I'd agree that the design is nice, it's just the price reflects the quality of the parts and manufacture.
