I'm pretty sure only the Brat tyres fit the stock rims (and Buggy Champ rear wheels), whereas the Sand Scorcher (white 5 spoke) rims also take the Super Champ tyres.

There's not a busting lot of choice for these 'older' cars as far as replacement tyres go, unless you can find some original hop-up tyres - Proline and Troll are two brands that spring to mind

Whilst the Sand Scorcher rims will fit a Brat ok, they'll only allow fitting of a narrow front wheel unless you start modifying rims.

Between the Brat and the Scorcher, not sure which has the larger diameter rim, but if it's the Brat, you may be able to stretch some Scorcher sized tyres over the rims - anyone tried that?

The Sand Scorcher (Grasshopper) & Superchamp (Hornet) rear tyres can be stretched to fit over Brat wheels. Though you may well have problems with the tyres rubbing on the steering if you put either of thes on the front of a Brat.

The choice of tyres for stock wheels is pretty limited as most modern buggy's use larger 2.2" wheels. You can buy 12mm hex adaptors to run new style wheels on the old tamiya buggy's but it kind of spoils the retro look IMO.
