would it be a good idea to put the CVA Mini Shock Unit II on the front and the short on the back? Would that bring the wheels flatter on the floor.

EDIT.. Scrap that I dont thnk the mini's will fit on the front.

The Short CVA II's can be built to different lengths by using different length lower eyes and by adding o-ring or a spacer to the damper shaft under the piston inside the damper body. Instructions with the set show what combination will make what length of damper.

Would the low friction dampers from tamiya work???, there almost the same price but are alloy?

How about the Ansmann racing aluminium damper 75mm that gresh (tc member) has bought??

Have you actually bought any yet?

It's just that I've been speaking to the guys at modelsport and they recommended some fastrax 75mm alloy shocks. I think they're £8.19 for the pair. I may go with these. Just got to sell some games first.

we have had a few breakages he snapped a front shock and now has some off a fighter buggy i think, makes it a tad lower at the front, i am currently running 3 body mounts and cant bring myself to pay a tenner for the sprew for one mount :) we also both have lights for night running which is fun :)

Have you ever thought of getting oil dampers and doing the 3rd shock mod?? or do you like it the way it is?

im a bit torn tbh cos they are just such good fun the way they are but on the other hand would like to try it on cva's but 30 quid is a bit pricey for me for 4 dampers when what its got works fine

. getting rid of the pogo sticks would make it a bit quieter tho :) might do 3rd shock mod tho

got one of each matey. Both stock and both endless fun.

yeah my mate wants a pumpkin and i want a lunchie :)
