I been trying to get new Tires for my King Blackfoot Project.

The Part number for King Blackfoot is 50374

and the Specs are:

2.2" inner diameter

4.75" outer diameter

1.50" bead width

I recently bought Traxxas Slash BFGoodrich tires: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti00...=LXYSR5&P=7

and their Specs are:

Inner Diameter: 2.2"

Outer Diameter: 4.3" (109mm)

Width: 1.7" (43mm)

So I kinda figure my rims will fit the Slash tires, I got the Slash tires they are half the width of my tires I have.

Am I missing something, is their a difference between bead width and regular width?

As you found out they are much smaller, if you're not bothered about being stock tyres search for 2.2 Truck tyres, lots of companies make them but I would look at the Proline range like these

although a lower profile than the stock tires, the pro line dirt hawgs are the best all terrain tire for a 2.2 truck. that said, i am also a huge fan of imex tires. the next 2.2 build i do will have g-hawgs.

I want a nice thick tire that will work fine with my King Blackfoot chrome rims
