Here's an ongoing project that I've been working on for 8 years...

It runs 2 Reedy 15 turn modified motors

2 Super Rooster ESC's

and 2 3300 Trinity packs

I have been buying aluminum replacement parts because the soft plastic parts won't hold up to the torque... Let me know what you think.

I used to run a TXT with twin 17 turn motors and twin 8.4v batteries (used 2 esc's too) and found the same problem you did forever ripping plastic parts to bits. The biggest problem I had was it ripping the upper ball links out of the top of axles I eventually had a bracket made over the top of axle with the ballends bolted onto that. Looks great, love the choice of bodyshell.

i ran 2 15 doubles on a 10 cell pack on my super rooster in a clod it flew! so you could put in 2 10 dobles and 2 10 cell packs for warp speed factor 10!!!

why are you running two super roosters? one can handle those two 15 turns.

Just for the sake of insanity! Seriously, I just wanted to see what it would do, no real reason...

Haven't had a problem with ball links as of yet, but since you've mentioned it, I'll keep my eye on it. Thanks for the idea of a fix, in case I need to. Thanks for the compliment on the body. A friend's mom made little curtains for it. They look pretty good in there. I'll try to get a couple of pics of them.

LOL! Then all I'd need is a Starship Enterprise to put on there and I'd be set! ;) "To boldly go where no R/C has gone before!" Thanks!
