Hi guys,

Has anyone else had it whereby for some unknown reason, sometimes you hit 'forward' or 'reverse' and it just does not respond, then you take your thumb off the controls, the it will suddenly work the next time you try forward or reverse? I have no idea what the reason is behind this, but it's happening!! Once the car is moving in either direction, it will not cut out, it's only when I first try to move either way that sometimes there is just no response at all!

Any ideas?

That makes sense going from forward to reverse - you have to brake to a halt, then left stick back again to get the TEU101BK to reverse .... but forward too, I'm thinking it could be motor brushes not contacting the comm properly? If it's a silvercan, swap it for another motor & try again, if the motor is something you can remove/replace the brushes in, remove the springs & check the brushes can move freely - I had a brush seize up in an Orion motor years ago, it was pretty frustrating!

If not it maybe a bad connection with one of the wires somewhere.
