Best Ts Type Paints?

Hi Guys and Girls

In your personal opinions what paints do you think are the best for the solid Tamiya bodies ie: The Clod and Sand Scorcher.

I am struggling to find any funky colours in teh Tamiya TS paint range!

I want to do one of my new models a really funky colour, maybe a pearlescent or a very bright metalic.

I am also struggling to find stockists that have any recommendations?

to expand your paint options, get down to halfords and get some plastic primer

then on top of that you should be able to spray any automotive paint!

halford have quite a range of colours too. maybe find a car that has a nice colour, then find the spray can equivalent

don't forget if you are spraying metallic, you will need some laquer to go over it as well.

+1 to halfrauds! (I've been ripped off a few times there now but their paint is good for RC models)

If you want funky check out Volvo's saffron pearl colour! Looks lush on road cars imho.

I think for truly funky you can't beat lime green or orange .... but for funk with a bit of class you need metallic reds, like Ford "Pepper Red" or "Tango Red", Rover "Nightfire", Daewoo (really) "Ruby red" & so on.

& maybe metallic blues

& maybe not the "Tango Red", come to think of it

Just checked and the Saffron pearl is metallic. Its one of those colours that looks different depending on light source.

But I'm sure you can choose a colour that YOU like! After all thats what counts.
