I bought one of these on eBay the other day. It's called a Cross Tiger, or Bonzer, depending on which webasite you find it on. It's a TL-01B clone, topped with a Wild Dagger body, wheels and tires. Comes RTR.

Just wondering if anyone has one. I believe there's also a buggy and a touring car.

Markthebus has the cross tiger and to be honest, he agrees, they are aweful pieces of machinery his wasnt reliable, poor build quality basically they are what they are.. cheap clones of older Tamiyas.

The price was too good to pass up. I can always give it to my kids.

I've been wanting a new car, and was going to get a Twin Detonator, because of it's size and the fact that it's 4WD. But I'm turned off to the idea of twin motors/gearcases.

I've never handled a TL chassis, but it looked perfect. Except it's either a buggy or a tourer. I could've bought a Baja Champ and added the other stuff to it, but I found the HBX in a search. We'll see what happens.

However, if I happen to come to my senses and buy a BC/BK, is it possible to still get the Wild Dagger body? I'm not fond of the Twin.

I should add that if anyone has any other suggestions about a 4WD, single motor monster truck about the same size, let me know.

The interesting thing I found was when rebuilding the hbx cross tiger due to poor quality I was fitting TL01 parts and some didnt fit, the driveshaft in hbx is longer..

I stress again buying one of these cars is a false economy, better spending the little extra and getting quality.

I've got one and like you the price was just too good to pass up. I'm really happy with it. Mine's been pretty reliable. except for when I crashed it into a concrete wall. but, then again... that was my fault... I too am in need of another truck body. but, then again I'm in need of a new bodies for ALL of my other tamiya's as well.
