lol theres a lot of watercooled slagging off in the aircooled sections - and vice versa, there's also a large crossover that have both - but when leaving Santa pod Sunday afternoon the air cooled camping was nice and neat and tidy, rubbish bagged and by bins. The mainly water cooled section to the left of the gate looked like a landfill site with gazebos, beercans all over the place, mattresses, sofas even a treadmill!

as a footnote Bug Jam has virtually been disowned by VZi after this year, it was dire, the atmosphere is long gone - racing was good but that was it, it just reeked of trying to make money

Good luck getting your beetle back I'll keep spreading the word, I know many Vdubbers that collect too - that aren't on here

You are right, as I said before, could have been anyone, I have nothing against water-cooled drivers, considering getting one myself for winter.

Nevermind, the bug can be replaced, but I might spend the money on my other models instead.

it's the same here in the states at vw shows.

the aircooled guys hate the watercoolers, but the watercoolers like the aircooleds.

i'm stuck in the middle because i love and own both. i pretty much hang out with watercoolers because the aircooled people around here are real jerks/snobs/purists.

did you put the throttle on full? wouldnt have been easy holding the car if a wheel caught the thief!
