Been playing with my new SRB Buggy Champ. After sorting a few minor build problems, I LOVE IT ! But as I am used to cars since the TA02, was wondering if I should fit a diff or not ???

Never had an SRB when I was young , got my first Tamiya RC when I started working in London (1989/90) . Should an SRB be kept original or modified ??? Help and comments appreciated , Cheers

I put the optional ball diff in my buggy champ and left the sand scorcher stock. The diff does make it a nicer drive in my opinion.

These RR's are not the original machines and i see no harm in adding some upgrades if they make for a more enjoyable experience.

Depends on where you run it. In loose conditions like beach running and deep dirt, the stock spool works the best. Everywhere else you will benefit from a diff
