I keep shredding the rear tyres on my baja champ. They are quite expensive to replace in my opinion for the amount of time they last. Can anyone recomend alternative tyres that will fit the wheels.

Just out of curiosity, where are you sourcing your from? I saw pairs on ebay for 12.80 which is kind of pricey I guess. The guy at the hobby shop told me that no other tires besides Tamiya would fit on the wheels which I don't believe. I'd be interested to know, so if there are any baja champ owners out there who can give an answer, you'd have 2 happy people.

I was recommended the proline dirt paws for my Baja Champ wheels. I went and got a set and they look nice and chunky. That being said I don't know how durable they are. Mine aren't going to see much action after I've got the chassis rebuilt and done the initial test run so I'm not bothering to glue mine but if you are going to run hard then gluing would definitely be a good idea.

I've got Dirt Paws on my King Cab, and they seem to hold up just fine even running on asphalt. (they show wear, but no "shredding")
