Well I reside in the good old USA and I can not seem to get a hold of NIMROD. I also cant find any TR-15 pieces on the bay so I can not use them, because I cant find any parts. So does any of Tamiya's new suspension arms/blocks/drive shafts play nicely with the old Dyna???

I think I read some where that people were using Associated B4 arms on tamiya and nim rod rear suspension blocks/bulk heads is this true? Does that mean that I can use Associated B4 bulkheads/suspension blocks on the dyna storm then with the stock DS arms? Please help, dieing to use the DS again, its handling the brushless great other than the suspension blocks!!!!! No need for a new TRF201 if I can fix this!!!! Thanks guys!!!!!

Nimrod Racing is very hard to contact. I have their phone number and I am currently still trying to get email contact with them, and make sure everyone can contact them again. Their parts are indeed pretty nice, especially the suspension blocks, undertray and wing are useful for every Dyna Storm runner, and do a good job at reducing reliability problems of the car.

As for the TR-15T parts, these are pretty rare, heavier than the originals, and although stronger, still have similar problems (regarding the suspension blocks) because they still use press nuts (which cause many of the problems with breakage on the suspension blocks).

As for the Driveshafts, if you buy DB01 Rear Universal Shafts, DB01 rear wheels (or similar), DB01 wheel fitting accesoires (you need some kind of washers) and TA04 rear uprights you have a more modern rear end with approximately the same width as the original car. Articulation of the suspension is good, but maximized when the driveshafts are shortened by 1.5-2mm ;)

As for the B4 arms and suspension blocks, I think they won't fit. The problem is that the Dyna Storm is a car with metric sizes, while the RC10B4 is a car with inch/imperial sizes. Even if the suspension shafts fit, I doubt that the actual suspension parts will fit. Interesting question though. Where did you read it? ;)

There is nothing to add to the perfect Origineelreclamebord answer but i can share with you my experience as Dyna racer (i still use the car to race locally and up to national championship).

To avoid the terrible D parts issue and have a great working rear end, i found a good compromise using Nimrod D parts (the ones without press nuts) well tightened with a good threadlock and the original rear arms, this because the nimrod ones are a nice piece of engineering but they are too strong and don't flex, this with the TR-15T rear C parts (still very easy to be found in the Bay).

This way the rear end of the car is strong enough to race on a track without major issues and it's possible to finish races......

On the front i use nimrod arms, but also the originals works fine and i just added some weight on front, 20 to 35 grams it depends from one track to another, this way you can have under control the understeering.

The only error to avoid if you want to race the Dyna is to try to save weight, it has to be heavy........ :o Lipos and Brushless will do the rest......... B)

Have fun with it it's still fast enough to palce well, even if TRF201X it's a lot easier to set and drive.
