Hi guys/gals,

Sorry if this has already been covered elsewhere (I have searched but not found anything..) but I was wondering if the new ball diff for the re re Scorcher will fit the original SRB gearboxes? I guess it will but want to be sure before I part with my hard earned cash :)

Cheers

Hi Dave, How did the ball diff fitting go in the original SRB ?

Thinking of doing the same, any issues ?

Depending on where you're gonna drive your SRB!

Gravel, dirt, sand = no need for a diff.

Everywhere (tarmac, indoor track, etc...) runs better with Diff

In all my twelve I onlly got two diffs.

But on the other hand, now you can aford a diff. And thay you couldn't about three years ago!!!

So I say buy one, just in case!

Yep, +1, the car turns better on higher grip surfaces with a ball diff. The diff is limited slip and adjustable, so it's still fine for running on lower grip surfaces, but you wouldn't notice any difference to the standard spool in this case.
