Ideas Needed On Sticker Removal From A Clod Buster Body

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys

I am sure I have seen tips for this on here in the past but just did a search and came up blank.

I am working on a restore of a Super Clod Buster and want to remove the stickers and they are all tatty.

How do I remove the stickiness that has been left by the original transfers with out wrecking the paint job?

Hot water softens the adhesive so it can be wiped off without chemicals.

Eucalyptus oil works well on everything else but I have'nt tried it on RC model paints. Could be an Aussie thing only (?)

I can confirm WD-40 was awesome at removing all of the sticker residue.

if you know any nurses the one use wipes for removing medical adhesives works well. I got a box off a friend after they went out of date for human use which work great for this job.

Cheers
