Kyosho Ultima ? What Do I Have Lol

I'm wondering what i have,I know its an Ultima, My question is about the shocks and mounts, The original had red shocks and aluminum mounts, The shocks on my Ultima are gold shocks and the mounts are black fiberglass, Did Kyosho make a different version of the Ultima to match my current setup or was this an option on the original Ultima. The front shock are much longer then the original red shocks.

I think your right lol, Looking at some pics of the Ultima Pro And Ultima Pro XL, I have to find some good closeup pics. Im still waiting to see that TA04 all built up 92gsr

Lol! I forgot sorry. I got this far but I didn't add electronics. I was disappointed because I waited too long to cut the body out and it flaked around the edges. Now I have to remember if I used Tamiya or Pactra fluorescent yellow.

Very nice 92gsr, I like it, are those Kyosho wheels ? Neat idea

Yep Kyosho wheels and Tamiya 50419 Racing Radials. I believe they are sandmaster/outrage rear wheels. They were the inexpensive buggies Kyosho made from the original Ultima front and rear ends and a new plastic tub chassis and towers. Great way to get parts/build runners for original Ultimas like yours. The Sandmaster was nitro and the Outrage was EP.
