Anyone know?

I was just thinking of picking up a Re-Release edition, and maybe getting up to near EVO spec to try running it against some modern competition. What's different on the EVO ?

Mind you I do now have a Rising Storm, so maybe that'll suffice, but it really would be cool to turn up to a club where people would laugh at the old time racer with the even older car.....

Thoughts ?

Let's see, I built up an Evo some time ago, this is going from what I can remember.

Additional Evo parts are: graphite chassis and top deck, beefed up front and rear shock towers, ally shocks, lightweight diffs, uJ's in the rear, adjustable turnbuckles, beefier tierod ends, titanium screws throughout, full bearing set, torque splitter, lightweight kingpins, ballraced steering, titanium hinge pins, and off course the obvious things like orange wheels and Evo decals which are getting harder to find by the day.

There maybe a few other things that i've forgotten but thats the main upgrades.

I really like your idea of running it against modern competition - been thinking about that myself.[:P]

I even had thought ( thanks to an Aussie TC member!) about getting a Manta Ray and buying somthing like a FibreLyte CF chassis kit and going that route.
