As i was away for quite some time now i have to let you know about my latest decision:

Due to lack of time and changing interest i sold my whole collection to another guy(not TC-member).Although i feel a little sad about it i decided to let them all go and maybe one day i'll get back into the hobby who knows

So keep well everybody and bring on the good work.I'll be still keeping an eye here on TC and maybe "find" one of my models in your showroom soon...

Please keep in mind i don't own any of the models in my showroom anymore and some of "my" models show up on fleabay allready.

Have a good time to you all

Mike

Oh: and will please someone wake me up when Mr.T decides to rere the good old Hilux again one day.You never know... :P

Hello and Goodbye,

Not sure we've ever chatted....

Just looked at your showroom, that's some collection. Can't believe everything has gone, you had a lot of cars.....

Enjoy your new interests, I wonder whats torn you away from Tamiya.....

but if your going to keep an eye on the site it wouldn't surprise me if something catches your eye sometime in the future.

I've sold everything a few times and always comeback eventually (this time very small scale).

Have fun

Mike,

we all get to a point where we have to make tough decissions. I know you thought this through well and we will all be missing your posts and comments. All the best for the future and let's hope we see the Hilux and it's siblings in the not to distant future.

Regards

Henk

Thank you guys for your kind words

..you can be sure that this decision was thought trough quite well that's why i took a little timeoff from here.It was all a matter of a choice between two things.Sadly i cannot have both at the same time so i had to let my collection go.Therefore i took my chance and fulfilled another childhood dream :P

But as i said before: i cannot guarantee not to find a way back into this great hobby with all its joy and pleasure...(not a day yet without a glimpse at TC--it's kinda habit i can't get rid of! LOL)

All the best

All the best for you and your family.

Hi Christian

you're so right:we had some nice deals and always a good conversation...that''s the part that makes me almost more sad than seeing all my stuff gone-as i met so many nice fellas here :)

anyway: i'm not dead-just need a little timeout maybe-let's see :)

Keep up the good work,mate

Ok chaps today i took the opportunity to make some outdoor shots of my "new toy" For all those now who wanted to know why i let my collection go:

It's an AMC Javelin SST. The car has a 360cui with a 3speed automatic and is made in 71 (which is exactly my year of birth). I'm very lucky to be the 2nd owner and the car is in an outstanding original good shape. No rust,no restoration yet-and totally stock like it left Kenoshas production-halls 40 years ago :D . It was very important for me to find a car that was good cared of and not abused or tinkered to death(which is not easy nowadays).Very happy with it...

Cheers everybody

WOW, Mike!

Hate to say, but this is a very good reason to turn away from RCs for some time...

What a cool car! But please tell me you didn't use it for the donut marks in front of it?

Congrats mate!
