Hello everyone, well I also like to build static models in my free time (my gf is a little jealous ;)...) and I am currently working on Tamiya's 1/12 Porsche 935 in Martini livery. Im willing to bet that the body and decals are the same of the 1/12 Tamtech 935 as well as the original 1/12 RC. Id be willing to pay someome to paint and decal the beast. The decals have many curves and Ive ruined a set of decals on the 1/24 and the first 1/12 I built as a kid. Anyone willing to help a guy out? Thank you for looking. Ill post in general too so mods by all means put where you think this should be. Thank you.

WillyChang - he is talking the original 935 as opposed to the Tamtech released one. I would suggest you purchase some of Tamiyoman(Myles) decals rather than try and apply the waterslide decals. I to have the static kit and that is what I intend to do once Myles has one more set of decals I am after.

Good luck

Not long ago I finished a restoration of a 58002 Martini. I installed a new painted and decaled body. It was the toughest waterslide decal job ever. Even with my experience, and use of Micro-Sol, I lost the roof decal. I know Myles (Tamiyoman) has just finished his peel type decals for this car, but I don't know how they work. I did buy a set of his 936 decals and the quality was very good. His service is excellent also. However, the 936 decals did have a problem with the long two piece side stripes being 1/4" short of the front wheel well. Myles is working on a fix. I don't think the decals from the TamTech lexan body will work, but they may be good for a 20 footer.... Best to find you a well equipped builder with tons of experience for the Martini.
