Guys - just bought a sanwa gemini II and trying to fit it to my new kit. however, the holes where the connectors from the speedo and the servo go are slightly too small for my connectors. is this a common problem? they are the same sort of holes with 3 links inside, but won't fit...any help much appreciated. merry xmas!

i had that problem too, i thyink its os that water cant easily get into the reciever, and what i did was 2 sand down the plugs a bit so they fitted in initially then u can push them all the way in even if the are a bit tight

Sanwa servos have a different connector to Futaba, which has become the industry standard. You will need to trim the plug to fit into the receiver as Sanwa ones are a little smaller and don't have the extra rib that Futaba fit to prevent you plugging in the wrong way round.

To fit non Sanwa plugs you will also need to swap the wires around in the plugs as well. Sanwa has the +ve and -ve wires swapped around compared to everyone else so you will have to remove the red and black leads from the plug and swap them over.

Alternatively if you are already using 40mhz the Sanwa transmitter will work perfectly well with your receiver. I use a JR transmitter but have never used the JR receiver as it is too big to fit in most cars.
