Thunder Tiger made (maybe still make) one, a Uno F1. It was pretty awful unfortunately, the chassis was primitive and the Renault shell was very badly proportioned.

I know a guy who has a very, very old Graupner (i believe) F1 nitro car.. Looks awful, and probably runs just as bad, LOL..

However, a good friend of mine has a ultimate-spec´ed FG Formula 1, and i have to say, it beats the snot out of regular FG´s, both the race trucks and the Touring and sportscar styled.. It really flies, and the chassis is much more stable than the other types..

Don't know about the Kyosho, but the FG you can get from loads of places like Rossendale Models or Modelsport.

Modelsport used to stock a lot of 1/5th scale stuff but these days they order most of it from FG Modellsport on demand, so the waiting time is about 2 weeks from the date of order. It might be worth seeing if you can buy direct from FG yourself.

Be prepared for the cost of 1/5th though. The competition F1 chassis is over £2000. Even the sportsline version (cheapest) was between £700 and £800 when I bought mine.
